py10x-core 0.1: open source release

February 14, 2026

py10x-core 0.1 is the first public release of py10x-core, the core package behind the 10x Platform, now open source.

py10x-core turns ordinary Python objects into a single, unified, dependency-aware graph: trait-based class definitions bring type safety and validation, endogenous objects that share an identity trait are automatically the same logical entity everywhere they're referenced, computed traits are evaluated lazily with automatic dependency tracking, and the same object graph persists to a store (MongoDB to start) with revision history — with cross-platform UI editors (Rio and Qt6) generated straight from the same trait definitions, no separate view layer to hand-maintain.

This is just the first step toward 10x developer productivity. Feedback, stars, and wild ideas are very welcome.
